As the new year approaches, I can't help but look back on everything 2024 has brought—the highs, the lows, and all the lessons in between. Honestly, it's been an eye-opening experience. I stumbled a few times, but that's okay. Each stumble taught me something valuable, and I'm taking those lessons with me into 2025.

This year, I faced some challenging moments, but each one showed me I'm stronger than I give myself credit for. I also learned the hard way about the importance of boundaries and putting myself first. Learning to say no was one of my best gifts this year. Oh, and self-care? It's not just a buzzword. Neglecting it left me running on empty, and that's a mistake I won't repeat.
For 2025, I'm making time to reset. The holiday season is my chance to slow down and recharge, and that starts with rest and reflection. I've been journaling about what went well this year and where I can improve. I've also been decluttering my space, donating things I no longer need, and organizing my home.
Planning is a big focus for me, too. I'm breaking the year into smaller, manageable chunks with quarterly reviews this time. It feels less overwhelming and helps me stay on track. Another thing I'm working on? My routines. I've realized how much they set the tone for my day (and night). My morning routine is about mindfulness—starting the day with intention and gratitude. My evening routine helps me unwind, whether it's reading, journaling, or just taking a moment to breathe. And sleep? It's non-negotiable. I'm making it a point to improve my sleep quality with a consistent schedule, blackout curtains, and even some mindfulness practices to quiet my mind before bed.
In my latest YouTube video, "My New Outlook—Preparing for 2025," I discuss my new outlook for 2025, the changes I am making, and what I am releasing that no longer serves me.
I'd love to hear about your year and how you're preparing for 2025. Let's talk about it in the comments—what worked for you this year? What are you changing?
Let's make 2025 the year we grow and thrive together.
