I've been eager to introduce myself to all of you and to connect with you. I've been so busy with work, school, my business, and my family that I haven't had time to devote to creating. Now that school is almost over, I am ready to jump back into writing and sharing more content. #classof2020
Who is Jennifer Johnson? That is such a loaded question. If you'd asked me that question a couple of years ago, I would've told you that I am just a wife, mother, daughter, and sister. That was before I knew my purpose and mission. Now I know I am that and so much more. I am a child of God with a passion for inspiring others. I am on a mission to foster a community of supportive women who are learning and growing through this journey called life.
I am what you would call a minimalist and an introvert. I keep it simple, love people, and value my time, space, and energy. I have a small circle of friends whom I hang out with. I’m working on getting out and adding more fun to my life, though that has been difficult these past few months due to the coronavirus. I enjoy movie nights at home with my family and cooking.
I am a writer, soon-to-be self-published author, motivational speaker, and the business owner of Through the Journey. I always thought I wanted to be a lawyer, but over the years, I have found a love for writing. Writing is something I plan to do for the rest of my life. I go through cycles of feeling inspired, writing like mad, and feeling proud and accomplished. I’m currently in the editing process of my first novel (All Things Come to an End), and it’s been quite an emotional journey.
I’ve always been a homebody. Speaking of home, my husband and I purchased our forever home at the beginning of this year, and I finally have a home office. I'm loving it!! This is my space to create and relax.
Like most women, I've experienced hard times in my life. Through my journey, I realized the power of sharing my experiences and helping others. I never thought that I would share my writing and experiences with the world, but I have enjoyed doing so.
Well...this is me and all of the things that I love to do. And these are the things that I want to share with you guys. I don’t want to feel like I’m in a box with my blog posts. I want to create content that will inspire my readers. I hope you guys stay along for the ride.
